Accredited ilm and CMI Leadership and Management development programmes

Eat the Elephant has joined with the ilm and CMI as they are responsible for the majority of leadership and management qualifications awarded in the UK outside the HE sector. The ilm/CMI certificates at least as many practising managers as complete undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications in business and management across the UK Higher Education sector.

What does Accreditation mean?

These qualifications are mapped to the government’s Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). The QCF is the framework for creating and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The QCF maps vocational learning to equivalent academic qualifications. Government-recognised awarding bodies such as the Institute for Leadership and Management (ilm) then create assessments based on these criteria. QCF levels map to academic qualifications as follows:

Why do we offer fully accredited leadership and management development qualifications?

Eat the Elephant acknowedges that many organisations want to offer fully accredited and nationally recognised qualifications and we are able to utilise the ilm’s reputation for innovation in the design of qualifications and assessment to meet the needs of employers, leaders and managers.

The overall philosophy of these accredited programmes are in personal development for the individual candidate, which in turn enhances their motivation, company loyalty and effectiveness in the workplace to bring improved organisational performance and measurable benefits to the sponsor.
