Why the Elephant?

Where does our name come from? Well yes it is refreshingly different and memorable much like the people development opportunities that we offer, but it does also crucially have a real performance development meaning for your bottom line.

How would you eat an elephant?  Well obviously you wouldn’t, but in the people development world the elephant is a metaphor for a problem or an issue, best tackled in the same way that you would eat an elephant – carefully one bit at a time and definitely as part of a well thought out, balanced strategy which is effectively evaluated for return on investment.

In essence we break down people development challenges into manageable ‘bitesize’ pieces and deal with them appropriately piece by piece.

Every company has an elephant or even a whole herd of people challenges that they need to get to grips with in order to engage and enable its people whilst also helping them to reach the absolute maximum of their potential.
